Weather in Cyprus

Cyprus is one of the warmest islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Winder in Cyprus is mild with temperatures ranging between 18°C to 22°C The mean daily temperature in July and August ranges between 29°C on the central plain to 22°C on the Troodos Mountains, while the average maximum temperature for these months ranges between 36°C and 27°C respectively.

Whether winter or summer, you can enjoy sunny, warm weather on the island year round. The rainy period is between November and March. Snow occurs rarely in the lowlands and on the northern range of Keryneia but falls every winter on ground levels above 1.000 meters on the Troodos Mountains. Skiers can enjoy there sport around December and January!
